From Cameron
Hi folks around the world!
I hope you’ve had a lovely week. I did. Even after some bloke sent me an angry email last night about a recent TikTok I made about Christians burning people alive in the Middle Ages.
"Hey why don’t you go after Muslims, whom have even more crazy contradictions in their faith. Like the school bully you happily pick on a faith and people whom you know will do you no harm.
You bunch of fucking cowards."
Ah the life of a podcaster.
My highlights (apart from angry guy’s email) for this last week were:
- Fox’s kung fu grading (got his Level 4 sash, he’s been training for 4 years, now the most senior student in the kids class!)
- I managed to adult my way through changing a tyre on my bike without punching myself in the face
- Re-designing the Life of Caesar website which will be live in the next day or so… here’s a sneak peak

Tonight Chrissy, Fox and I are off to see SPARKS live in Brisbane. We’re all big fans and saw them play the last time they were in town a few years ago. If you don’t know who SPARKS are, you’re missing out. Two brothers, been around since the early 70s, have put out 28 albums, often called "your favourite band’s favourite band".
My Thought For The Day

We dig into what happened to the early Christian community in Jerusalem — spoiler: nobody really knows, and that’s the fascinating part. Then Cam and Ray pause to take in the sheer scale of what just happened: a 2,200-year-old city, wiped off the face… |

Cold War · Published 27 May 2026 The Man Who Owned Everything: Cold War 309: Cuban Revolution #33This week we dig into the fallout from Castro’s agrarian reform law — the land grabs, the diplomatic notes flying between Havana and Washington, and the moment a Texas cattle baron handed Eisenhower the blueprint for 60+ years of US Cuba policy. We also cover Castro’s brilliant political theatre: a fake resignation on live TV that ended with a million people in the streets demanding he come back, and a new president who lasted about ten minutes. |
