TROUBLESHOOTING PODCAST FEEDS
Most of the support emails we get come down to one of the following issues. If none of these address your issue, please fill out the form below and Cameron will get back to you ASAP.
1. WHERE DO I FIND THE PREMIUM FEED?
You should have received an automatic email from our system when you registered. It might have ended up in your junk folder or something.
Anyway – all of the premium feeds are at the bottom of our instructions page. That’s also the page to find out how to make the premium feeds work in your podcast app of choice.
2. FEED NOT WORKING
Have you followed the instructions to insert your username and password into the feed before you submit it to the podcast apps? If not, please try that. If you have, please copy and paste the full feed (including your username and password) in the form below so I can check it for errors.
If you’re getting a message saying the feed can’t be found – and you’re certain you’re using the correct feed – then try turning WIFI off on your phone and using 5G. Believe it or not, that was actual advice one listener got from Apple support and it worked.
Another tip that has worked for some user who get the “feed not found” message is to change the HTTPS at the beginning of the feed to HTTP (eg no letter ‘s’). That often works, too. Don’t ask me why. I just work here.
3. PAGE OF CODE
If you’re getting a page of code, it probably means you CLICKED on the feed link.
Please review the instructions. You have to COPY AND PASTE the feed into your podcast app.
Depending on the app you’re using to listen to podcasts, you also might need to put your username and password into the feed before it works (different podcast apps work differently). Refer to the instructions for…. instructions.
4. HOW DO I CANCEL / PAUSE / UPDATE MY SUBSCRIPTION
You should be able to cancel / pause your subscription (or update your credit card details) by going to your account page on our podcast site.
Here’s a list of links for easy reference:
5. I’VE SIGNED UP TO A PREMIUM FEED BUT I CAN’T SEE ALL OF THE EPISODES
You’re probably still looking at the free feed. Delete it out of your podcast app and add the correct feed. You can find all of the feeds here.
6. THE LATEST EPISODE ISN’T SHOWING UP IN MY PODCAST APP
I reached out to Apple support about this. This is what they said:
“This can happen for a few reasons. Often users do not restart the device or the app and it’s a memory cache issue. Users experiencing this issue should reach out to tech support.”
So try restarting your device and/or podcast app.
7. IF ALL ELSE FAILS… USE THIS
